changed action research plan

Sorry to report that my action research plan was suddenly changed.  I'm now working on improving vocabulary K-2.  http://academicvocabularyk-2.blogspot.com/

Research Action #1

     In elementary schools we do many types of assessments to monitor a students' progress.  Each school has their own approach on how gaps are filled to get students on grade level.  I will be looking at what our campus does and comparing that strategy to the results to see if it's effective.  I will also be looking at other schools to see what methods they use to improve student reading.
     I will also look at the materials in use and see what is available for take home reading.
